Bookings

  • Making a booking and payment is accepting and acknowledging these terms & conditions.
  • A booking is not confirmed until a deposit payment is received.
  • There is a minimum 3 night booking & payment requirement.
  • A 30% deposit is required with final payment being made 30 days before your arrival.

Cancellation Policy

  • A full refund is not possible after full amount has been paid unless your booking dates can be filled – your payment may be used for alternative dates.
  • If cancellation is advised 30 days prior to you arrival a 20% refund will be returned to you or you may use that deposit for a future date.
  • It is strongly advised that you purchase travel insurance at the time of booking.
  • Please Note: Check in time is 2.00pm & Check out time is 10am. Both these times are flexible depending on the arrival & departure of other guests.
  • If you have a long waiting period your luggage will be stored by our Valet team. Unfortunately we will not be able to supply you with a buggy outside of your booked times.

Our Buggies

  • All normal Australian road rules apply to operating a buggy on Hamilton Island. Common sense prevails. The driver must have a full license. Children are not allowed in the driving position at any time – even when stationary.
  • Our buggies are supplied in an ‘as is’ condition. Upon your arrival an inspection is to be made and note taken of any damage that may have previously occurred.
  • The buggies are battery operated and if not treated with ‘respect’ they will behave badly – please drive slowly and do not overload the buggy – max 4 people per buggy.
  • If the charge meter drops below half it is recommended that you return to your apartment and recharge for a minimum of 3 hours.
  • You must charge every night – all night.
  • If you run out of charge away from the apartment the buggy cannot be pushed – it is recommended that only the driver remains in the buggy and after 10-15 minute break attempt to get to the closest power point for re-charging. Take the keys with you and enjoy the walk!
  • In the event of an accident or any damage or loss of the buggy you will incur the cost of repairs, retrieval & hire fee of another buggy if required.
  • Our buggies are maintained to a high standard but unfortunately breakdowns do occur and we are not liable to compensate you for the unavailability of the buggy regardless of the cause.
